TB110 Rev1 Demo Console and Offline CPU7 Operation Instructions
Overview
This document describes what is required to run a demo console console not connected to a PLC motors or
a servo amp or running a CPU7 with CNC7 on a desktop computer
Requirements
1 Since no PLC is present a special PLC program is required Use TESTALL PLC available from Centroid
Tech Support Other PLC programs will cause spindle drive fault errors and prevent you from operating CNC7
2 Configure setup parameters for "Autohome NO" So that CNC7 will set home when you press "cycle start"
after boot up
3 CNC7 is equipped with a stall detection feature which must be disabled if no amp and motors are
connecting to CPU7 To do this Modify the batch file CNC7M4 BAT
Add "nostall" to the two occurrences of the command "CNC7M? For example change
"CNC7M" to "CNC7M nostall"
Helpful Hints
If you have a CPU7 in a PC off line set console type to "M 39" Set PLC type to "Absent"
Set jog panel required to "NO" if you do not have a jog panel connected
If you want to use a mouse for Mastercam or Millwrite be sure to plug in the mouse before turning on the
control
