TB208 Rev1 3 Phase Noise Suppression for SD drives
Purpose
This document was created in an effort to help protect our SD drives from noise coming in on the 3 phase
power into the DC supply We have decided to add quenarchs across all 3 phases at the stud diode assembly
Quenarch Assembly
Procedure
1 Â To install the quenarch assembly locate the stud diode assembly in the electrical cabinet and loosen the
screws for the incoming 3 phase power  Note If building your own quenarch assembly make sure to solder
the ends of the quenarchs together before crimping the spade terminals onto the leads
2 Â Slide the spade terminals under all the screws and tighten down See picture below for correct installation
